Second Grade Snakes
My awesome second graders made these slithering snakes in art class. They were inspired by Deep Space Sparkle's rainforest lesson. They did a great job controlling their watercolor paints! Check out some of their work. Nice painting, kids!

Fall Birch Trees by 2nd Grade
The second grade created these great birch tree paintings this fall. They had a lot of fun. First they painted the white stripes for the tree trunks. When they were dry, they added yellow paint for the leaves, and added in a bit of orange to add interest. Finally, when the paint had dried, they used black crayon to add details to the bark and outline the trees.

Not So Scary Scarecrows!! by Second Grade
Here are some fabulous scarecrows created by my wonderful second grade students! They drew with pencil, and then went over their lines with crayon. Then they used watercolors to paints in the rest of their pictures. They are so cute!
