I absolutely adore the final results of the sixth grade cave art project. After learning about and viewing some pictures of real cave art, and talking about the very first "art" to be created, the students used sponges, paints, and oil pastels to create there own version.

Wilting Colorful Sunflowers by Fifth Grade
These were inspired by some beautiful sunflower art I found online. I love the way they came out. The fifth grade artists did a great job blending the oil pastels together.

Big Beautiful Sunflowers!! by Fourth Grade
I love these big sunflower heads, especially the unique designs inside the centers. I also like how each flower looks different, love all the petal shapes.
